About Us
Arabtronics brings together three worlds: electronics, computer science, and the Arabic language.
We started from a simple belief: technology works best when it speaks people's language and understands their culture. Since the dawn of computing, the Arabic language has been an afterthought—from keyboard layouts and processor microcode to operating systems and programming languages. The dominance of QWERTY, the English-centric nature of the internet, and the global reach of Western social media have created a network effect that sidelines Arabic, not because it is inferior, but because the infrastructure was never built for it.
Arabtronics exists to change that at the hardware and software level. Our mission is not to apply linguistic band-aids, but to equip Arab technologists with the tools, knowledge, and community to build Arab-first systems—where Arabic is a native language of the machine, not a translated feature.
