I accidentally came across this article in ROM magazine, Vol. 1, #1 (July 1977) that mentions a computer that handled Arabic and Farsi characters in color. The image below, which I took from my own personal copy of the magazine, reveals Arabic letters, even though it was printed upside down. The second image mentions InteColor 8001, which, according to this article, https://oldcomputers.net/compucolor-8001.html, was manufactured in December 1976. Between the time of the publication of the article and the manufacturing of the machine, this puts this computer, as of now, as the earliest personal computer that I could find to have displayed Arabic text and in color! I could not find any other details about this except what the article stated. A digital copy of the magazine is available at https://archive.org/details/197707ROMV1I01. The featured article is on page 49.
